My uncle started Mohawk Electric in 1979. He taught me that neat work takes no longer than messy work, and I still work that way. Panels, rewiring, pot lights, EV chargers and smart switches, with ESA permits and inspections handled. I put down drop sheets, wear indoor shoes and vacuum up before I leave.

Mohawk Electric started in 1979, when my uncle named it after Mohawk Road, where he lived. I joined in 2005 and learned the trade from him. His rules were simple: neat takes just as long as messy, pay attention to the details, and keep up with new technology. I still follow all three.
